Fostering Belonging
In 2024, we increased the size of our student arts programs – from 60 to 110 New American students at Columbus Global Academy and Columbus International High School. For many, English is new. The country is new. Belonging is new. Through music, volunteer service, and shared experience, they practice English, they find their voice – and a community that sees them.

Out of town field trip
The students took their first out-of-town trip boarding buses to Cleveland, staying overnight and seeing a Broadway production of STOMP where they participated in a post-show Q&A with the cast.
It also gave them a rare chance to explore their new home state, practice independence, manage responsibilities away from school, and rely on one another – strengthening both confidence and connection.
