Concert for Humanity

May 1, 2025 | 7pm | The Schottenstein Center | Doors Open 5:30pm

Experience the power of more than 1,000 voices and a 30-piece band and orchestra uniting for something bigger than a performance—this is a movement.

From Cleveland’s electrifying 10K Movement dancers to the soul-stirring Jeremy Winston Chorale of Dayton, from Voice for Columbus finalist Jesse Powers to the thunderous 500-voice Harmony Community Chorus and a 200-voice student chorus, this night is about belonging. Also featured will be 350 voices from within institutions of incarceration. The grand finale features the premiere of the 1,000-voice Concert for Humanity Chorus, a statewide collective proving that music can heal, connect, and inspire.

In partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, The Ohio State University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, and the Ohio Arts Council—this isn’t just a concert. It’s a call to humanity. Be there. Feel it. Be part of something unforgettable.

PEOPLE

Harmony Project is people — different backgrounds, different ethnicities, different abilities, and different beliefs — practicing the powerful idea that the dissonance between us can be disrupted when people work together.

ART

Harmony Project is art. Art is the catalyst for change — creating opportunities to explore shared stories, expanding cultural knowledge, and creating empathy for one another. Creativity fosters a shared space where people can embrace their differences and build social harmony.

COMMUNITY

Harmony Project is community, rolling up our sleeves and taking action, working side by side to make our neighborhoods better places to live. Neighbors and neighborhoods are engaged in service to forge a path toward a richer community. It takes more than one voice to live in harmony.
