David Brown

Creative Director

David Brown has an established reputation for creating collaborative, groundbreaking events that positively impact organizations and communities. Since 2009, David has grown the Harmony Project into a national model redefining diversity and inclusion through musical arts, innovative outreach programs in schools, shelters, and prisons, and community impact experiences that inspire thousands of hours of volunteer service each year.

David has shared the stage with Grammy award, Tony award, and Academy Award-winning artists. His work has been featured on The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS Sunday Morning, and The Kelly Clarkson Show, while stories of his work have appeared in O Magazine and Columbus Monthly. David was most recently featured as a guest presenter for the internationally-acclaimed Nantucket Project.

National awards include the Norman Vincent Peale Award for Positive Thinking, and locally David has been honored as NY 1’s New Yorker of the Week, The Columbus Foundation’s Spirit of Columbus Award, and The Spirituality Network’s Living Faith Award.

In 2015, David welcomed two foster sons into his life, and in 2017, David, Chris, and Kulay became a family.
